IORA • Indian Ocean Rim Association

The Ministers at the Council of Ministers Meeting held in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran on 7-8 March 2007, identified six priority areas for the Association in the medium-to-long term.

These priority areas were re-invigorated at the 11th COM meeting, in Bengaluru, India on 15 November 2011. To promote sustained growth and balanced development in the Indian Ocean Region, IORA focuses on:
