Sub-Committee of Finance

The Director of the Secretariat presented the financial standing of the Secretariat and the Association to the CSO meetings since 1998. The Senior Officials, at their third meeting held in Maputo, Mozambique, 28-29 March 1999, agreed that at future CSO meetings a working group would be established to assist in the task of perusing the financial statements and the budgetary proposals.  This would report to the CSO.

The Member States of the Sub-Committee on Finance comprise of the Chair and Vice-Chair and at least five other Member States.

The Financial Statements of the IORA are audited by independent auditors from the Mauritian National Audit Office.
